Amazing 1940s ball gown / Old Hollywood prom dress.


Luxurious heavy and shiny liquid satin in a rich Orange / pumpkin-y / coral color.
I love the vintage colors. Just don't know what to call them.

Fitted and boned sweetheart bodice with side metal zipper. Pieced and gathered bust cups, styled much like lingerie.

Spaghetti straps.

Skirt has yards and yards of fabric for movement. Gored and flared.
Skirt has a muslin backing that gives the skirt structure.

Belt loop, but no belt.

Drama galore!

Very good condition - Could use another steam - straps are a little long but easily adjusted. There is some discoloration at the hem. But the dress is very long so you would probably need to hem it.

25.5 waist - There is fabric in the side seams that could add a bit more.
